Fidelity Guarantee (忠实保证保险) Insurans Jaminan Kesetiaan


1. Introduction

Fidelity Guarantee Insurance is designed to indemnify the Insured against loss as a result of dishonesty of persons holding position of trust.

In a business organization, certain positions demand a very high level of honesty and trust. The daily duties of the employees in these positions would bring them into contact with cash or goods that can be converted into cash.

A business organization would like to have some form of protection against any loss should their employees abuse their positions of trust. Fidelity Guarantee Insurance is therefore most ideal form of insurance to protect the company's interest.

The company only accepts Fidelity Guarantee insurance provided the Insured's other insurance are placed with us, otherwise this class should be avoided as its claims experience is generally not favourable if there is insufficient check and control over the staff's handling of cash.

2. Scope of Cover

This Insurance covers direct pecuniary loss as the Insured shall sustain by any act of fraud or dishonesty committed by any insured employee. 

The loss must be sustained 
i) in connection with the insured employee's          employment and duties 
ii) during the period of guarantee and         
    renewal  thereof 
iii) during the uninterrupted employment of     
    such employee 
iv) and discovered during the period of 
    guarantee or within six months thereafter.

3. Extensions

Auditors' and Accountants' Fees up to the sum insured of RM10,000 prepare satisfactory proof of pecuniary loss.

 Rate* 1% on limit of indemnity/per event and in the aggregate
 Plus additional 
 Premium* Per Capita
 RM10 per person
 Minimum PremiumRM50
  Excess 5% of limit indemnity or RM2,500 whichever is higher

* Discount on Rate/Per Capita : A discount of up to 25% may be allowes for proposers with a clean record of  claims in the last 5 years.

1.Pengenalan

Insurans Jaminan Kesetiaan direka untuk menanggung rugi Pihak Diinsuranskan terhadap kerugian akibat ketidakjujuran untuk orang yang memegang jawatan amanah.

Dalam organisasi perniagaan, kedudukan tertentu menuntut satu tahap yang sangat tinggi kejujuran dan kepercayaan. Tugas-tugas harian pekerja dalam jawatan-jawatan ini akan menglibatkan mereka keatas hubungan dengan wang tunai atau barangan yang senang/ sedia  ditunaikan.

Sebuah organisasi perniagaan ingin mempunyai beberapa bentuk perlindungan terhadap apa-apa kerugian pekerja jika mereka menyalahgunakan kedudukan amanah mereka. Oleh itu, Insurans Jaminan Kesetiaan  adalah bentuk insurans yang paling sesuai  untuk melindungi kepentingan syarikat.

2.Skop Perlindungan
Insurans ini melindungi kerugian secara lang-sung atas wang sebagaimana Diinsuranskan atas kehilangan apa-apa perbuatan penipuan atau ketidakjujuran yang dilakukan oleh mana-mana pekerja yang diwajibkan.

Kerugian ini mesti disebabkan
i) berkaitan dengan pekerja yang diinsuranskan demi tanggung jawap dan tugas
ii) semasa tempoh jaminan dan pembaharuan daripadanya
iii) semasa tempoh penggunaan tanpa gangguan penggajian pekerja yang berputus-putus.
iv) dan ditemui semasa tempoh dijaminkan atau dalam tempoh enam bulan selepas itu.

3.Extensions

Yuran Juruaudit dan Akauntan sehingga jumlah yang diinsurans kan sebanyak RM10,000  bagi penyediaan bukti yang memuaskan mengenai kerugian wang.
